Raison d'etre
I don't want to talk to your agent product. I want my agent to talk to your product.
I saw a tweet similar to this shortly after coming with the idea for Sunflower.
What it means is that people are centralizing around LLMs the way we used to centralize around operating systems. ChatGPT, Claude, and others are increasingly trying to become the ecosystem where work happens -- and they are succeeding.
It's therefore essential to realize that sooner or later, we will have to rebuild (or at least extend) the physical layer to this new platform, the same way we adapted around mobile, browsers, the internet, the computer, and before that, phones. Everything became interoperable with these technologies because they were simply what people wanted to use. And businesses go where the users are.
How do we make businesses more interoperable with LLMs?
Not sure yet. But that's the problem that Sunflower wants to solve.
